Upgrading Course Student
From 1 December 2008 until 1 March 2009 Muhammad Adlin Sila will be doing library research in the Netherlands on "Islamizing Capitalism in Southeast Asia (revisited): Comparing the Development of Islamic Banking in Indonesia and Malaysia", as part of his PhD research at the University of Indonesia.

10 new MA positions

The Training Indonesia's Young Leaders Programma has 10 new MA positions available as of 1 September 2009 for a period of 18 months. The deadline for applications is 1 February 2009. Selected candidates will be interviewed in Jakarta in the beginning of March.

Conference
The 1st international conference "Muslim Youth as Agents of Change" took place in November last year. It was an inspiring meeting of national and international speakers in Malang, Indonesia.
